While in a cafe here in Istanbul, I saw a set of shelves that held wine. The back of every other cube shaped shelf was tiled with mirrored tiles. The tiles had beveled edges and were in a subway tile pattern. It really looked quite classy. But would it work in a home?

I love ReadyMade magazine, but I wasn’t sure about this DIY stump stool project. Making things out of discarded items is wonderful. But this seems a little too rustic for indoors and likely to rot outdoors.
