A literal interpretation of the “tea light” certainly seems a lot more useful than those tiny little candles. My only worry is that if I pull the on/off cord a soggy tea bag will end up in my hair.

I think we can safely, if somewhat sheepishly, say that this adorable lamp is the Belle of the Wrecking Ball. Couldn’t resist.
I spent quite a while clicking around the CB2 web site looking for this fabulous yellow lamp I saw in their new catalog. I searched under “lighting.” I searched under “new decor.” Nothing. Then I realized that it’s not a lamp at all.
It’s a very sneaky coat rack. I think I need glasses.
I know soft-serve isn’t real ice cream, but I love it anyways. Half the reason I eat a Jason’s Deli for the occasional lunch is the free soft-serve. It would be a little too cold for a day like today (Texas is having a rare cold-snap), but even looking at this giant ice cream lamp makes me think I might have to stop by the nearest freezer isle on the way home from work.
And it’s even cuter when it’s next to a cat.
Need a Monday chocolate fix? These lamps are low on calories and, may I predictably add, “high on style.” But seriously, they are pretty cool looking.
I always like a light with a sense a humor. Hopefully they don’t require batteries.
Flashlight lamps, $42 each.
Never be lost in the dark again thanks to this LED doorknob.
A pair of these would be the perfect combination of the elements. A cool, metalic lamp on one side. And a warm, wood lamp on the other.
I’ve always found the PBTeen sale to be a good source for some lovely adult-worthy home decor items. I’m now including among them this chic swoop lamp. I’ve been searching for one for awhile and always find them cost-prohibitive. This one, however, is currently marked down to $199.
I can’t believe this is a lamp. It’s so whimsically complex it actually took me a couple of looks to find the light-producing portion. It’s right over the tiny table, wine bottle and wine glass. Duh.
