I found a great post from Amber Interior Design about mixing patterns without the room looking “like a rainbow barfed all over it.” She has curated some really nice examples here. The post is getting me excited about sprucing up my pretty-but-a-bit-bland grey sofa with some serious pops of pattern. I ordered a few pillows from Urban Outfitters to get me started (see below). Hopefully I will be able to pull it off.
