I just happened upon the drawings of Jon Carling in the art section of Etsy and I’m completely smitten. This one, entitled Led by a Creature White as Snow, reminds me of my favorite childhood book, Fables.

I love this Beary Faux Bear Rug. I wonder if there’s any chance I could make my own faux zebra rug with button eyes and a little mane with my incredibly limited sewing skills? Probably not.

Funny how cats feel the need to sleep on whatever is taking our attention away from them - the computer, the newspaper, the remote… This beautiful serving platter sort of takes it to the extreme. The good news is this hand-painted kitty is 100% guaranteed not to shed on your appetizers, which is a lot more than you can say for the real thing.

You won’t have to worry about losing your needles with this pin cushion necklace from Alleluja. Every time I stitch something, I end up finding surprise needles in my sofa in the most unpleasant ways.

I love science. I’ve never been great at it, but it always seems awesome on the Discover channel. And science love is in the air with these nerdy his and hers embroidered molecules. The hers is the estrogen molecule while the his is testosterone. Totally adorable.

If you really, really love you books, you can actually get a table custom-made to store your favorites. Jane Dandy takes your books and creates the perfect nook to put them on display. Just be careful where you set you glass. The last thing you want is coffee rings on your favorite classics.

Cats are masters of balance, but I have a hard time believing even they could ride unicycles with such skill. Regardless, this signed print by Judy Kaufmann (aptly entitled “Cats”) is completely irresistible.

For some reason, I cannot resist cute pictures of chickens. Or taking pictures of chickens. I went to the Caribbean and took more photos of wild chickens than I did of the ocean. Add to that the fact that it’s spring and there’s a top hat involved and there’s no way I could resist posting this print.
