    Etsy Find: Cat’s Meow

How cute is this felted cat head shaped cat cave from Agnes Felt? Answer: way cute. My cat has a cat cave and he totally ignores it, so I guess I won’t be picking one up. But you can for just $109.

    From Scratch

After years of not having cats, I recently got a kitten. I had totally forgotten how very determined they are to scratch and claw everything you love into oblivion. I had also forgotten how much a cat can change your decorating priorities. Should I get a new sofa? Not unless you want to spend $1500 on a giant scratching post. Should I display my ceramics collection? Ha ha ha. You’ve got to be kidding. That’s why I’m thankful for Modernista Cat. They make this Cat Console that pulls double duty as both a landing strip for keys and such and a scratching post for kitty. $529 and available in 5 colors.

    Life’s a Bed of Blankets

This is such a fantastic idea – a dog bed that is essentially a pile of blankets your pooch can root around until he/she is comfy. From what I can tell, it has never gone into production, though the design seems to be attached to Japanese retailer Muji. Fingers crossed they end up on shelves.

    Etsy Find: Go Pet Designs

I know I’m not alone in my constant struggle to blend the sad, ugly blanket my dog loves so much with my otherwise coordinated living room. Luckily, a friend of mine emailed me about Go Pet Designs. They have adorable pet beds, crates and toys that will do your decor proud. Above, Canvas Field Tent, $250.

    ei2 Pet Home, $800.

    Roach Rod Cat Wand, $14.

    DIY Dog Bed

I don’t know where one finds a bread crate in the United States, but I would like to find out so that I can make my very own DIY dog bed. Maybe the local flea market? Via French By Design.

    The Cat’s Meow

I know a few cats who would give their 9 lives for an amazing climbing wall like this one. I think with a few power tools (and someone who is not terrified of cutting off a finger) you could definitely do this yourself. I may have a dog, but I’m still a cat person at heart. I’m filing this one under “maybe someday.”

    DIY Cat Tree

This cat tree is made out of an old set of drawers screwed into 2″x2″s. What a great way to repurpose a piece of furniture that has gotten too old or too damaged to serve it’s original purpose.

    Squeeeee!

This scarf is so cute I can barely stand it. Sadly, ModCloth seems to be totally sold out.Our pups will have to put it on their list for next year.

    Let’s Skip Monday…

And go straight to Caturday. These adorably rustic cat houses make me wish I could spend the day napping in sunbeam instead of cooped up in the office.
