No bones about it, I’m an NPR junkie. I get all of my news from NPR – especially in the mornings while I’m getting ready for work. Typically, I stream the local station from my iPhone, meaning I miss a lot while I’m in the shower. Until now. This bluetooth shower speaker lets you stream your music (or your NPR app) anywhere in the house. Can’t wait to get one.

The hörbert MP3 player says it’s made for kids…according to my very limited German vocabulary. I refuse to play by those rules. If I ever run across one of these stateside, you can bet it will find a permanent home on my desk.

I’ve never been a fan of the rolling pizza cutter. It just seems more likely to take a finger off than cut through a crispy crust. And, at any rate, the slices all end up uneven no matter how much geometry I work in my head before starting in on the slicing. These pizza sheers solve both problems with a wedge-shaped spatula attachment that allows you get perfect slices and serve them all-in-one.

An easier way to gut pumpkins. It does exist. $10.

Perhaps it’s too hot for toasted sandwiches this time of year, but I could still go for a warm grilled cheese right about now. With toast bags you don’t have to heat up the kitchen by turning on the stove or oven. You can make melty goodness right in your toaster.

Well, it’s day four of being stuck inside in the snow here in Dallas. I wish I had one of these stove-top smokers to play with. It lets you smoke meats indoors with real wood chips. Sounds delish.
