Etsy Find: Jason Tennant Wildlife Art

I ran across these wildlife wood sculptures by Jason Tennant on Etsy’s front page and was totally blown away. They’re so realistic I almost mistook them for taxidermy. Above, Owl in attacking pose, $5200.

Luckily he also makes some smaller, more affordable pieces. Flying Crow, $180.

    Martha Rich

I happened across the whimsical art of Martha Rich on Pinterest the other day and had to share. Her work is just so colorful and fun. See more on her web site,  at Big Cartel, or over at 100 for 100 (sadly, it looks like her work here is all sold out).

    Found on Pinterest: Ian Dingman

The “picked for you feature” on Pinterest can be pretty hit-or-miss – at least, it is for me. But here’s one recommendation they got right: the art of Ian Dingman. His simple, often monochromatic ink and watercolor works are really arresting. I especially love the series of night swimming-themed images. Above, Falling Through the Night, sold.

    Waterbirds, $120.

    Timing, $160.

    Mirroring, sold.

See all of his for-sale artwork here.
