Melon and mint aren’t on the top of my list of favorite color schemes, but I love that headboard. It’s just perfectly over-the-top. In a more muted space, it could be a star. Via Elements of Style.

I’m a little bit in love with Crate and Barrel’s new Donegal Chair ($1300 – ouch). I was reading the Apartment Therapy book not too long ago and was not surprised to find their furniture rated best amongst the big furniture retailers. It’s a little pricey, but if my extra comfy C&B couch is any testament, it seems to be worth it.
Print of an original drawing by Tush Tush, $15.
A waterproof globe that can project light into the room or into the tub itself. Totally useless and yet totally amazing. Via Japan, of course.
I love taxidermy. I know it’s sort of divisive, but I’m a fan. Unfortunately, it’s not cheap. But I stumbled across a possible alternative on Society 6. This head-on moose trophy print is available as a 28″x 20″ print. A little bigger and it might be the size of the real thing.
Anthropologie is offering free shipping on all orders over $100 for the second time this summer. Maybe they’re finally catching on that customers dislike their new shipping policy. $15 to ship a pair of jeans? Come on. At any rate, they have some nice home decor on sale, so take advantage. Even though it doesn’t qualify for free shipping, I’m thinking about ordering the Huari Rug, (4′x6′ on sale for $249).
Jazzy, inexpensive prints from Edubarba Collages and Prints, about $17 each. These would be wonderful in an entryway, guest room or even a bathroom.
