I’ll be moving to a new apartment in a few weeks – one with a peaked ceiling and exposed beam – and have been obsessed with finding a hanging egg chair. There’s just something nostalgic and warm about them. Plus, who doesn’t want to sit in a swing. A few days ago, I picked one up (similar to the photo above) from Craig’s List for $110. I’m still debating how to style it. I think I’ll ditch the stand and hang it from a beam if I can find one to support it. If not, I might paint the stand something other than black. I definitely want to pick up a sheepskin and a few cushions. Other than that, I’m not even sure which room I’ll put it in or how to position furniture around it. But here are a few of the photos that are inspiring me.
