I love the simplicity of this hand-cut wall paper from artist Jane Benson. I know that would last all of two seconds on a real wall, but I wish I had a whole room done in this.

I love the simplicity of this hand-cut wall paper from artist Jane Benson. I know that would last all of two seconds on a real wall, but I wish I had a whole room done in this.
Two fantastic discoveries today:
1) Sweet Paul. He’s got a blog and an online magazine with amazing decorating ideas and recipes.
2) White Halloween! The googly eye photographs slay me.
When I was a kid, I had one of those Fischer Price kitchens out in my tree house. You know, the one with the plastic bacon and eggs set to cook on your imaginary stove top? This outdoor kitchen looks like Fischer Price all grown up. So adorable.
I wonder if they’ll be coming out with a matching wolf version?
Is it fall yet? I miss cardigans, plaid skirts, tall boots and hot soup. Plus, these apple cupcakes can’t help but remind me of cooler weather and turning leaves. Sadly, temperatures here in Dallas are still in the 90s.
Did you know that cork has antimicrobial properties? Neither did I. Sounds like an appealing alternative to constantly washing my shag bathmat.
Cork Bathmat, $20 at Urban Outfitters.
These cats feature screen printed faces and retro fabric bodies. Find more kitties and tons of Jane Foster’s other retro-inspired goodies in her Etsy shop.
I’m a sucker for soft, fuzzy blankets. Which makes it sort of hard to live in a place that has three seasons of summer and about four consecutive days of cold weather per year. This would still look pretty thrown over the back of the couch.
West Elm Pom Pom Throw, $59.
This custom-built bicycle rack doubles as a shelf and it’s pretty to boot. If you’re handy with a saw and nails, you might even be able to put one together yourself.
The perfect accessory for those difficult mornings after a late night out.
