I had to pause to admire this handcrafted table from Josh Urso Design. It’s made from resin impregnated rope and is aptly name Knoop, which is Dutch for rope.
I think we can safely, if somewhat sheepishly, say that this adorable lamp is the Belle of the Wrecking Ball. Couldn’t resist.
Never mind the secret garden, this garden has a secret. A terrible secret. This has to be the creepiest statue I’ve seen in a while. Possibly ever. See more weird garden decor found on Amazon.com here.
This is a little off the home-decor topic but I had to post about these IT bags from Noised Up. I love the occasional fancy purse. I think we all do. But I like that these versions offer a little commentary about that “statement” piece.
Spring is springing and the birds are singing and apparently even I am getting into the act with a little rhyming prose inspired by CB2′s tweet bird feeder.
Framed family trees can make beautiful heirlooms, but they are just that… heirlooms. They can look a little out of place or stodgy if your decor is more modern.
But My Tree and Me allows you to design a beautiful, modern version of your family tree by choosing a design and colors and filling out a simple genealogy form.
I just ran across some of the work of folk artist Dylan and Jo over on Super Punch. These, well, I don’t really think you can call them dolls, so these pieces of art are from a collection called “frivolity.” Certainly worth spreading the word about.
This unusual print is one of four in a similar vein I found at Studio Beerhorst’s Etsy shop. Other works include drawings, collages and wood-cut prints, but these classical giclee prints are what really caught my eye (no pun intended).
My mom has a collection of vintage stacked tea sets. I’ve always admired their self-indulgent feel, the idea that you have a complete tea set – cream and sugar bowls and a cup for just one. And I love this updated version from Anika Engelbrecht for the same reasons. We all deserve a few minutes to ourselves for a cup of tea and some cookies that we don’t have to share.
