I normally hate the very idea of a fake fireplace. Even the gas logs, while sort of cute in a kitschy way, seem like a waste. It’s the smell and the crackle of the fire that’s always appealed to me. But this wall-mounted fireplace is actually quite pretty – probably even when it’s not lit.
