I think Ikea is a fantastic place for cheap home goods – the occasional work lamp, mixing bowls, photo frames, maybe an end table or kitchen stool – but I usually don’t find their big furniture items appealing. They’re inexpensive, but not much more so than West Elm or CB2. I’ve found cheaper sofas at Macy’s. But, I like this Karlstad Lounge. Even with the $349 pricetag, it seems like good design bang-for-the-buck.
