CB2 is having a summer sale. They’ve got up to 50% off a lot of cool items, including some nice patio chairs. But I particularly like this Arch Magazine Rack, now just $29.99. It’s got a nice Midcentury vibe.

I just recently rented an office. Now I have a space to go write where I don’t have a bunch of kids bugging me. Working at home is great, except during the summer when the kids are out of school. So now I have to decorate it, and that’s my sticking point. The only thing I know for sure that I want to have is this poster from despair, inc. I don’t really have “customers” in the traditional sense, but when I worked retail, I had this thought many times.
I ran across a few of the Dror for Target items in-store this weekend. They are housed in the dorm area, but are simple and chic enough to work in any home.
And the student-budget pricing doesn’t make them any less attractive.
Wood Accent Table, $59.99
Stick Table Lamp, $19.99
Plastic Wall Clock, $24.99
All the feel of the woods with out that pesky cutting down trees part. This Stoobe Storage Stool from Krooom is now available in-store at Target for just $15.
It’s eco-friendly and is meant for storage.
But no Kroom products have actually showed up on Target.com just yet.
How awesome would this be in your kitchen? I guess the pot rack would have to make room, but fresh herbs are a lot better than a bunch of clunking copper sauce pans any day.
These Sky Planters use a “ground breaking internal reservoir system” to deliver water - so no drips or leaks. My only question - how the heck are they keeping the plants from falling out?
I have been so focused on Etsy’s handmade items, I’d never really looked through any of their vintage stuff until yesterday. But I was happy to find extremely reasonable prices on lots of really cool items. If you’re looking for vintage housewares, they beat Ebay, hands down.
1956 Cocktail Party Wheel, $26
Deco Shakers, $14.95
Here’s an awesomely cute birdhouse I saw on Etsy during my morning internet travels. I’m absolutely loving it. Best part? It’s a cool ten bucks. It’s by baconsquarefarms on Etsy. Get you one before I snag it.
Pier1 is really proud of their new Peacock Tufted Dining Chair. And with good reason. It’s got a beautiful, classic shape and a very reasonable price (just $189). Unfortunately, the Pier1 site still has no e-commerce so you’ll have to stop into the sticks and bricks store if you’re looking to buy.
There are so many things about this Harmony Beach Pod that don’t work for me. Like the burgundy and gold upholstery and the dark color of the wicker. Yet I can’t help but imagine how awesome it would be to kick back in one of these with a book and a glass of lemonade (which is the bar I set for summer relaxation).
The good news is that if I do break and buy one of these for my backyard, Target has it marked down from $699 to $350. So maybe I could justify a little reupholstering.
These are just too funny for words. But you can get custom words stiched on them - for example, your names.
I love that they even have crusts.
