A few months ago, JC Penney announced they were creating a new line of more upscale furniture in the style of Pottery Barn. I’ve seen a few of the pieces in-store. They’re not bad, though they are a little pricier than I expected.

However, I was browsing the Penney’s site for desks this morning and found the Linden Street Cordovon Desk, once $740, marked down to $399.

I like the modern studio style paired with the warmth of wood.
