While visiting a friend’s home recently, I admired several amazing photos she had only to learn that the artist, Bradly Brown, was a friend of hers. She directed me to his site, where I’ve been admiring his portfolio of photography, illustration and mixed media pieces for the last few weeks.

Bradly is a Texas native, born in El Paso. He’s since relocated to New York, but the dusty desert influences of West Texas are still apparent in his work.
Bradly, who studied photography and print, moves seamlessly between human and animal subjects, capturing the moments of truth that occur between poses.
Here are a few of my favorite pieces from his site. I’ve got a print of Donkey Punch, mixed media on chalkboard, waiting at home to be framed. I absolutely love the colors, and for me, this piece perfectly captures everything I love about the Texas mystique.

If you’re interested in purchasing a print, I have pricing on Donkey Punch ($250 for a print with matte, $5000 for the original
(48"x72")). But, please contact Bradly for information on anything else you like @ bradly@bradlybrown.com
