    DIY Chinoiserie Wall Panels, Wallpaper

Futherinfo2 If you’d like to add a Chinoiserie motif to your home without committing to wallpaper, take a look at the amazing stencils at Stencil Library.

Sch1This Chinoiserie panel (left) is 44" x 16.25" and costs $300. With a little elbow grease, you could "wallpaper" your room (using all four available panels or any of the many other panels available). Or simply add a few panels and frame them out with half-round.

This peony and bird print (right) would take a little more time and precision, but the pattern is just spectacular.

Sch30I’d love to see this in my master half-bathroom, which is about 4′ x 3′. Stencilling is a great solution because bold pattern can make a small space, but wallpaper in a bathroom can be difficult to maintain. Birds and Peonies, 23" x 15.5", $162.
