About a year ago, I noticed that Pier One really began to modernize. They’ve taken a few large steps back from their wicker-by-candle days and now offer a more robust selection of furniture. I noticed this great arm chair yesterday while e-shopping at lunch. I thought it was really classic with it’s business-suit gray upholstery and crisp black piping.
I felt very validated when I saw this afternoon that Crib Candy thought the same way.

You are so right about Pier One branching out into the modern world. I have never purchased one piece of furniture there only accents and just the other day I bought the Carey Accent Chair. I am really excited about their new colors and designs for spring.
